Husbands are hard to shop for — and harder to say things to

Men rarely admit they want gifts and almost never hear out loud why they're loved. An anniversary video does both: it's a gift he surely doesn't have, and a way to say what matters in a song instead of a card.

What to remember

  • How you met and what he was like back then.
  • Your first trip, first home, first renovation.
  • His habits that you love and laugh about.
  • The kids, if you have them: what kind of dad he is.
  • What you wish him for the years ahead.

Both of you in the video

Add your photo and your husband's — you'll be the heroes of every scene. You can add the kids and pets too: the family in the cartoon will be your family.

Any anniversary

One year, five, ten, twenty-five — name it in your story and it will be in the song. For an early anniversary a light, cheerful song works; for a silver one, a warm and lyrical one.

How it works

Let's celebrate my mum Natalie's 55th! She adores her garden and strawberry pies, and every summer the whole family gathers at her place…
